Back in my recruiting days, I remember data visualization was always a pain. We tended to rely on Google sheets and other hacky solutions, most of which required manual inputs. As a recruiter, there was always more you could be doing, so carving out time for data entry and reporting was a fair amount of hassle. However, this info was regularly sought out by hiring managers in order to improve recruiting efficiency and output.
I wanted to create a hiring dashboard that captured important recruiting metrics, as well as urgent tasks such as scorecards or upcoming interviews.
